XBMCU

XBMCU is a compact multi-interface receiver and machine control unit (MCU) offering seamless integration into PLC systems through multiple serial protocols, offering unrivaled reliability. Machine-to-machine functionality can be supported in both directions with high data volume. It is designed for industrial automation and robotic applications, mobile machines, overhead cranes, logistics and monitoring systems and shunting applications.

Plug-and-play integration for the XBMCU gets users up and running in minutes with secure RF communication and simplified machine control. Closed-box programming and configuration can be performed using the CattronLink™ desktop or mobile app and is available with global frequency support.

XBMCU is lab-certified for PROFINET® communications for reliable, real-time data handling with Class C Conformance. A dual CANbus interface supports J1939, CANopen, CAN FD and CANopen Safety. For North American users, XBMCU will support Ethernet/IP protocol and future updates will include CIP safety capabilities.

The XBMCU is designed with a high level of functional safety, featuring redundant hardware and software architecture to support critical operations. It meets the requirements and stringent international standards of the European Cyber Resilience Act, helping organizations meet regulatory expectations for safe and secure operations.

The XBMCU works with the Safe-D-Stop™, all CattronControl™ and the latest generation Remtron™ transmitters.
