The Tyro™ Taurus 1S wireless dead man’s switch is a safety-certified hold-to-run wireless remote control solution that ensures machines and equipment operate only when the operator is actively engaged. Designed by Tyro Remotes for use in hazardous or high-risk environments, it pairs with a Tyro Gemini 1S or Aquarius 1S receiver to provide a wireless dead man’s function that immediately stops equipment if the operator releases the switch or control fails.
Its ergonomic three-position OFF-ON-OFF design helps prevent fatigue during extended use, making it ideal for commissioning, maintenance, robot cages, production lines and other applications where operator presence is essential for safety. The Taurus 1S supports continuous wireless operation for up to 50 hours and is moisture and dirt-resistant for dependable performance on the job.
