DynaGen is evolving to Cattron… Moving forward, the DynaGen team will be doing business under the Cattron brand, as Cattron. These changes are a result of Cattron’s acquisition of DynaGen Technologies in December of 2020. Since then, the unification of the DynaGen and Cattron portfolios, services and operations are happening across both organizations.

DynaGen’s TOUGH Series™ controllers, and their highly configurable Plug-N-Play packaged solutions, are at the center of the engine and generator control portfolio. TOUGH Series controllers provide complete control, protection and instrumentation on mechanical and electronic engines around the globe—including our newly expanded market in Australia.

“The shift of DynaGen to Cattron is a signal of the combined strength and readiness of both companies to operate cohesively under one brand,” says Ryan Wooten, CEO of Cattron. “DynaGen’s TOUGH Series solutions are already tough, and now with the power of the entire global Cattron team behind them, they just got tougher.”

The combination of Cattron and DynaGen brings new capabilities and support to the portfolio including:

  • A significant increase in product development and engineering resources to assist with bringing new solutions to market
  • Increased manufacturing capabilities in North America and Europe to accelerate our ability to deliver DynaGen products worldwide.
  • Access to increased technical support, field service and depot repair to enable world-class support on a global scale
  • A comprehensive portfolio ranging from telemetry, monitoring and management solutions that increase efficiency to safety-driven, wireless remote control solutions that protect people and assets

While the company name is changing, many things are staying the same. The same experienced staff will still be in place to support DynaGen customers. The DynaGen portfolio will remain and is positioned as a primary product brand in the Cattron portfolio. In addition, the DynaGen office in Nova Scotia will remain in operation with plans in place for significant growth.
