Eliminate the wiring required from a shipboard control room to a lifting winch used for a Remote Operated Vehicle.
The customer uses a tethered Remote Operated Vehicle and was seeking a remote control for the winch to simplify the operation. The LCR-M1 operator control unit was selected because the LCD display shows Line Out and Speed. In addition, the customer needed joysticks and buttons on the controller – and the Flashbox would be used to experiment with the talkback display. The programming tool, standard with CattronControl systems, enabled the customer to customize the feedback messages to display to the operator. This provided the flexibility to make changes quickly and easily.
