Locomotive Remote Control Systems

Cattron’s locomotive remote control solutions are used by a majority of Class I railroads throughout North America. The systems use a sophisticated computer-based system that allows yard operators to control driverless, switching locomotives using a battery-operated portable operator control unit. Key features include dynamic speed control which gives the operator complete control over the train speed, pitch and catch, tilt detection and more.
